2. Melting performance The melting performance depends on the relative molecular mass, relative molecular mass distribution, long branch chain and other factors. Similarly, the relationship between melt flow rate LLDPE and LDPE and shear rate :LLDPE behavior is similar to HDPE with narrow molecular mass distribution, and the melt viscosity is higher than LDPE, so the extrusion load increases and the heat increase during extrusion molding. The melting tension of LLDPE is lower than that of LDPE, and the relaxation time of melting stress is shorter. It can be observed that the melt film extruded from the "T" head has a large shrinking neck, and the vertical elongation of the billet during hollow molding is large. Because the melting stress relaxation time is short, the residual stress in the injection molding product is small, so the shrinkage rate is small, and the warpage is small. 3. Thermal performance The melting point of polyethylene is proportional to the complete degree of crystallization and grain size, so the melting point of LLDPE is 10-15 degrees Celsius higher than LDPE, even if the same LLDPE, the more carbon of the copolymer monomer, the higher the melting point. The same rule applies to Vicar softening point. The thermal sealing performance of the film corresponds to the heat sealing temperature of the fully melted, and the thermal sealing temperature of LLDPE is 10-15 degrees Celsius higher than that of LDPE, and the melting point range of LLDPE is narrower than LDPE, so the thermal sealing performance of the film is good. The cold resistance of LLDPE, in terms of the relationship between catalytic temperature and melt flow rate, the embrittlement temperature of LLDPE is lower than that of LDPE and HDPE, which indicates that it can withstand lower temperatures.
